Abstract :
An LTE (Long Term Evolution) antenna design with dual-band operation for laptop computer application is proposed. The antenna size of this proposed design is 40×15×0.8 mm3, and it is mounted above a ground plane of size 200×150 mm2. The lower and upper operating bands of the proposed antenna are with impedance bandwidth (VSWR 3:1) of 13.1% (695-790 MHz) and 37.6% (2200-3120 MHz), respectively. Furthermore, minimum radiation efficiencies of up to 56% were also measured within the three LTE bands.
