Abstract :
This paper presents a quasi-analytic solution for the transient analysis of scattering from a general, finite hyperbolic surface when it is illuminated by a plane wave. This solution significantly extends the applicable scope of the solution in [1], to simulate realistic scatters with both convex and concave surface curvatures. Since TD-PO is used, the solution can be used to predict the early time, first order reflected and diffracted fields and is accurate for the fields near the specular direction.
