Abstract
A single-fed 5.8 GHz dual-polarized rectenna (rectifying antenna) is presented. The impedance bandwidth of antenna meets the specification of Industrial Scientific Medical (ISM) and the measured peak gain varies from 4.5-5.7 dBi. The single-fed dual-polarized rectenna achieves RF-to-DC conversion efficiency of 79% at 5.8 GHz and DC voltage of 7.38 V, it is attainable for wireless power transmission.
