Abstract :
This study presents the micro-hydroelectric power generation system. The micro-hydroelectric power generation system can be utilized for generating small amount of energy within towns. The generator system requires to be a robust, simple configuration and a stable output. The authors developed the reverse rotation twin rotor generator with the hydraulic energy test apparatus. In first step the study is carried out to make the twin water wheel prototype test apparatus using a small size facility. The paper describes the basic characteristics of a generator system with twin water wheel prototype test apparatus using a small size facility. The maximum power of the prototype test apparatus was found to be 52W.
