Meeting future needs in society through professional education a professional master in Care and Technology

This article presents the rationale for the development of a European professional master course on care and technology. A description of potential target groups for this course is followed by a specification of the intended learning outcomes. The organization of the course follows a modular structure Next to the modular structure of this course information is given on the digital learning and work environment that is used. The development of this course has been initiated by a consortium of 6 institutions of higher education from 3 countries. Currently the accreditation process of this course is followed. A start of the course in September 2015 is endorsed.
