Abstract :
Summary form only given. In this paper we presented the Langmuir probe technique for the measurement of plasma parameters as well as the electron energy distribution function in the IR-T1 tokamak. Langmuir probe is one of the easiest, conventional and most useful instruments in plasma diagnostics. The electron transition part of the I-V characteristics of probe is used to obtain the plasma potential, the Electron Energy Distribution Function (EEDF), the electron temperature and the plasma density. Our measurement results are in agreement with other diagnostics results.
