  • Abstract
    This paper deals with the experimental results concerning the validation testing of a custom TFT-LCD for avionics applications. In particular, the environmental tests and optical measurements have been carried out in order to characterize a customize display which will be installed in a military aircraft cockpit. The whole experimental activities devoted to the validation process of a new design solution for an avionics TFT-LCD underline the key role that measurements represent in aerospace applications.
