Abstract
In this paper, we consider a multi-channel cognitive radio network with multiple secondary users where the channel sensing of a secondary user is imperfect. Our goal in this paper is to characterize the stability region of the network. Due to the complexity in the analysis, we approximate the stability region by using the decoupling approximation. Numerical and simulation results show that our analysis well approximates the stability region. Based on our analysis, we investigate the impact of the channel sensing errors on the stability region. We also propose a channel access policy for secondary users to improve the stability region of the network.
