Abstract
This paper reports ultrafast laser fabrication of waveguide circuits and 45° vertical coupling micromirrors in fused silica for board-level optical interconnect applications. Excellent micromirror surface quality was obtained and 0.24-dB per reflection at λ=632nm was demonstrated.
