Abstract :
An Er3+ZBLAN glass fiber laser which lases at 3.5 μm and produces 370 mW when operated at room temperature is reported. Good efficiency is obtained using a dual wavelength pumping scheme. Over 200 nm of wavelength tuning is demonstrated using a three mirror resonator configuration.
