Abstract
Initially restricted within schools, the violence among students began in the Internet through social networks, starting cyber bullying expression. This study aims to analyze the influence of worry and involvement of teachers in cyber bullying practices. For this, a survey was conducted among 112 elementary and high school teachers from public and private schools in the city of Blumenau, SC, Brazil. The data were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis and structural equations. The results indicated that the concerns of teachers with cyber bullying actions influence the belief of these professionals, in the sense that the school involvement is important, raising the need for more proactive stances to prevent the harm caused to students by these actions.
