Abstract :
Solar energy is one of the most desirable power generation due to its environmental friendly nature and unlimited existence. The photovoltaic system draws the attention of many researchers in the recent decades. In this paper, the efficiency of Maximum Power Point Tracking is improved by taking the effect of dead time into account. The inverter design for the proposed system is given. The proposed method is used to reduce the voltage stress and distortion. Simulations are performed using MATLAB - Simulink. The simulation results are shown to highlight the performance and reliability of the system.
