Abstract :
A compact self supported hat-fed reflector antenna for V-band operation is presented. The antenna exhibits a high gain with low reflection coefficient. A semi-spherical shell radome of Polycarbonate material has been used. The simulation results show that radiation patterns comply ETSI class 2 standard. Measurement results of an antenna operating at higher frequencies, produced and designed using similar approach are presented to show an experimental verification of the concept.
