Abstract :
In this paper, the conception of a multiband antenna dedicated to the UMTS/PCS/WLAN/BLUETOOTH/LTE standards, is presented. A design methodology in order to obtain an efficient antenna is also proposed in this work. The antenna is composed of five elements: a main radiating element and four parasitic elements. The parasitic element technique is the single method used here to enhance the antenna´s bandwidth. The proposed technique allows to best preserve it on all bands selected through the forms and positions of parasitic elements close to the main element, by removing efficiency drops that may be encountered in this type of configuration.
