Abstract :
We study the electromagnetic absorption of a 7th month pregnant woman mobile phone user inside an elevator. Numerically accurate models are utilized. Two different positions of the pregnant woman inside the elevator are examined and the mobile phone is placed at three different talk positions, vertical, tilt and cheek. Also, three different cabin types are used. Results are compared with the obtained results from a male model. Furthermore, specific absorption rate (SAR) in fetus is very low and depends on the position of the phone and the elevator cabin type. Moreover, pregnant woman has higher SAR values than male model, possibly because of differences in tissues and anatomical details.
