Abstract
Traffic shockwave spreading speed of the incident influence in urban expressway was deduced with Greenshields model and Greenburg model for traffic flow with different density, and the model to calculate influence scope of urban express way incident was proposed. Incidents video from Urban Road Network Monitoring Centre of Shanghai and AIMSUN simulation analysis were used to compare with the model calculation, result shows that the model is more accurate in the short term period of incident spread or in high-density traffic condition.
