Abstract
From 2011 to 2012, many large-scale cascading trip-off of wind turbine generators happened in China. After that, a lot of study was done on LVRT strategies, but not enough attention was paid to the high voltage problem after LVRT. Firstly in this paper, the high voltage problem of DFIG-based wind farm was thoroughly analyzed. To solve the high voltage problem after short-circuit fault, a coordinating control strategy of voltage and reactive power between SVC and DFIG was proposed. Basing on a practical windfarm, simulation results presented in this paper verify the effectiveness of the strategy.
