Abstract :
In this paper we consider the problem of the stability of switched nonlinear systems. We use an optimization strategy based on Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) and a genetic algorithm (GA), to compute the region of attraction of each subsystem. The feedback control will be designed to guarantee global stability by means the multiply Lyapunov functions under a switching signal. The implementation and efficacy of this approach are illustrated through simulations using a hybrid van der pool model.
