Abstract :
We demonstrate preliminary results on a broadband and compact output combining network for Doherty power amplifiers. It uses negative capacitors or inductors to provide wideband impedance inversion. The negative elements can be absorbed into the nearby matching networks and can be used to partially or completely cancel out some reactances further decreasing the size and cost of the implementation.
