Abstract
India is one the fastest economic growing country in the world. Today, the Indian power sector facing lots of problem in power generation, transmission and distribution systems. However, smart grid is one the solution to protect the Indian power sectors. So, the Govt. of India has taken so many steps for developments of power sectors. This paper presents current smart grid scenario and supported policies in India.
