  • Abstract
The enactment of Microgridsystems within the network materializes as a surrogate that may be used during blackouts when some areas like electrical transport system, financing activities, academic institutes, industries, health centres with emergencies, some communication systems fail to operate. In the modernistic scenario, the ever proliferating performance of power electronic devices has changed the micro grid system. So power quality reckoning such as voltage dips, sag, swell, and harmonic distortions have become a major deportment. Within the paper, a genuine prototype of Kalman Filter in combination with Weighted Kalman Filter is mingled for preciselytracing time-varying harmonics of power signals. The practicality ofalgorithm is trot out by employing the algorithm to the micro grid system for harmonics reckoning. The consummation shows that the preferred method is able to accomplish muchauthentic and robust measurement of harmonic amplitudes and phase angles of the signals.
