Abstract :
The coals of rich in cracks have low strength, large deformation and difficult to support, obtain triaxial compression test parameters by RMT-150B rock mechanics and concrete mechanical testing machine, the micro-structure of coals damage photos on coals samples fracture obtained by scanning electron microscope observations. Use the fissures information extraction software developed from MATLAB platform. This paper put forward a quantitative research idea to extract fracture morphology and the two-dimensional geometry of the coals micro-structure based on image enhancement and regional growing algorithm. At the same time, make a statistical analysis of coals samples triaxial compression fracture azimuth, width, length and other information. We obtain coals´s strength and elastic modulus is lower and the presence of a large number of initial damage, with significant anisotropy and in homogeneity.
