Abstract :
Computer aided design (CAD) has become an important technique for garden landscape designers. Because of its convenience, creative feeling and visual impact, CAD technology is widely used in the process of garden landscape design. In this paper, we firstly elaborate the advantages and disadvantages of CAD technology, and then introduce the main procedures of landscape design with CAD technology, including modeling, rendering and post-processing. Finally, we give an application example of Auto ACD in garden landscape design.
