  • Abstract
In order to fully test the resolvins E1 pharmacodynamics in mice with acute lung injury and evaluate the influence of RvE1 on inflammatory response. 30 male Kunming mice were randomly divided into three groups, normal control group, ALI model control group and RvE1 treated group. The animal model of ALI was established by LPS intraperitoneal injection. After 12h, killed the experimental animals and observed the histological changes of the lung tissues, and test the wet-to-dry (W/D) ratio of the lung tissues. Measured the contents of TNF-a in BALF by ELISA and measured NF-?B in lung homogenate by western blotting. Histological studies showed the lung injury was significantly alleviated and the lung tissue structures became nearly normal, and the infiltrated inflammatory cells and exudates in alveolar and bronchial lumen were significant decrease in RvE1 treated group. The W/D ratio and contents of TNF-a in BALF and the level of NF-?B in RvE1 treated mice was significantly lower than those in ALI model control group. The test results show that RvE1 can inhibit inflammatory response and alleviate lung injury in mice with acute lung injury.
