    Founded in 1883, the University of Texas at Austin (UT) boasts a diverse distinguished list of former students including two first ladies, Lady Bird Johnson and Laura Bush; broadcast journalist Walter Cronkite; Founder and CEO of Dell, Inc., Michael Dell; actress Renée Zellweger; and National Basketball Association star Kevin Durant. Building the UT Longhorns IEEE Student Branch (SB) has mirrored the path of the larger institution by placing an emphasis on educational, communal, and real world experiences.
