Abstract :
Family of single-phase single-stage bridgeless power factor correctors based on tapped-inductor buck-boost converters is introduced. The converters´ family has the merits of reduced component count and alleviated losses in the conduction path. The feasibility of the proposed topologies was verified by simulation and experimental results.
