Abstract :
In this issue, I would like to present to our readers three excellent papers. The first paper, “Modeling and Simulation for EMC-Part II”, by Christos Christopoulos from the University of Nottingham, UK, is the second part of the two-part series paper. Part I of the paper covered the more formal aspects of modeling and how they impact the accuracy of models used in computational electromagnetics (CEM) as applied to EMC. Part II focuses on the detailed technical aspects to illustrate the approaches available in dealing with multi-scale problems. It also explores the interaction between numerical models and testing and how best they may be employed in synergy to address the challenges in the analysis and design of modern systems.
