From the associate editor-in-chief July 2015

I was looking at my colleague Lance Kaplan´s April 2015 editorial (Lance is Editor-in-Chief of the Transactions), and it suggested a few things that I might discuss in this month´s Magazine comments. Specifically, Lance keyed off the recent PRAC review that our AESS publications underwent to make some points about Transactions scope versus Magazine scope, and the related instructions for authors. I´ll do the same: this month I´ll discuss PRAC; and the next time you hear from me I´ll be writing about what makes a good Magazine article.
