Abstract :
Reports on the special features and applications supported by Q-Bot, a robotics company that improves the energy efficiency of existing homes by providing underfloor insulation to houses with suspended timber floors, of which there are over 8 million in England alone. Previously, the only way to insulate the floors of these homes was to take up the floorboards, a prohibitively expensive solution causing significant disruption and often forcing the resident to move out.
