Abstract
A dual band low profile antenna for wireless body centric communications is presented. It is composed of a concentric shorted annular ring and a circular patch. Two types of radiation patterns with omni-direction in azimuth plane at low frequency band for on-body communications and uni-direction in elevation plane at upper frequency band for off-body communications are obtained simultaneously.
