Abstract :
An optical multi/demultiplexer with 2010 channels for 10 Gbit/s transmission which covers the whole low-loss fibre wavelength range from 1.26 to 1.63 μm is described. It was achieved using a three-stage tandem configuration that used arrayed-waveguide gratings with Gaussian passbands
