Abstract :
A new adaptive time-delay estimation procedure is proposed for accurate target detection even in the case of low signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs). For that purpose, M-band wavelet transform and projection cross-correlation are employed to provide effective signal decorrelation and SNR improvement
