Abstract
Discusses some of the challenges facing the manufacturing and supply section of EMI. EMI´s is a high-volume fashion business. The market is volatile, and retailers like to hold small stocks and to have them updated at short notice. Demand is seasonal. CDs that are likely to have an enduring market are produced for stock during slack times. Temporary staff are taken on during busy times.
