  • Abstract
    This paper proposes the variables screening technique based on the stepwise multiple regression in multiobjective design optimization. This approach enables us to efficiently select the design variables that have a sufficient effect on machine performance. Some numerical results that demonstrate the validity of the proposed method are also presented
