On the Group Delay Properties of a Set of Microwave Circuits

In this correspondence group delay properties of particular type microwave circuits are reported. The proposed systems allow to obtain linear group delay versus frequency characteristic with variable slope while the delay at a preassigned frequency is constant; slope variation is achieved by opportunely biasing a varactor diode. These performances seem to be very important in order to obtain microwave variable or adaptive equalizers.
