  • Abstract
A distributed forward- and backward-coupling (DFBC) semiconductor laser for wide wavelength tuning is proposed and analyzed. A 4×4 F-matrix method is established in order to pursue numerical simulation. As a result, over 100: nm tuning around 1.55 μm by simple injection current control, scheme is predicted.
