Abstract :
Given Google´s Web-centric world view and Microsoft´s everything-for-everybody approach, we can anticipate a clash of titans that will attempt to execute distinctly different strategies in the computing world. The real winner could be an Apple product that can deliver TV shows and music to your cell phone - controlling the distribution channel - and wrapping its customers in its proprietary digital-rights management system. Call it the strategy of power from the edge.
