Abstract :
A multiplex optical frequency comb generation system was proposed by using a waveguide type optical frequency comb generator. It was estimated that the maximum span of the multiplex optical frequency comb was 240 nm (=29 THz) which was limited by the index dispersion of the LiNbO3 waveguide. Experimental results of the span as wide as 100 nm (=12 THz) were obtained by using five lasers around 1.5 μm wavelength.
