  • Abstract
    From the early prototype stage to present day, the El0 system has used different types of concentrators to connect subscriber lines. A new type of concentrator, the CSE 1000, is described in this paper. This concentrator has been developed for the new version of the El0 called the El0 B. Decentralized control based on microcomputers and space division concentration using electronic crosspoints are the main features of this concentrator which can interface 1000 subscribers.
