Abstract :
Relationships are derived for finding equivalent low-pass representations of the Volterra kernels corresponding to a widely used model for a nonlinear communication channel. The results are a logical extension of the usual complex envelope representation for bandpass signals. The equivalent low-pass representations are useful for simplifying calculations in cases where the input and output signals of the system are bandpass.
