Abstract :
A novel harmonic elimination pulsewidth-modulation (PWM) technique for static dc/ac power inverters is proposed in this letter. The technique determines the commutation angles based on equilibrium points; which are obtained by calculating the centroid of the area under the curve of the sinusoidal function of voltage, within a time interval defined by the method of equal areas.
