Abstract :
The author comments upon the original paper ("A unified approach to transient stability contingency filtering, ranking, and assessment", D. Ernst et al.), stating that the proposed method achieves an impressive combination of reliability and computational efficiency, and requests comment on some general ideas of dynamic stability assessment. The original authors\´ responses to these comments are also presented.
