Abstract :
This paper studies the harmonic response of an electric power system in the presence of capacitor and shunt filter banks. The consequences in the harmonic resonant behavior of an unbalance in one of the equipment capacitors are analyzed. The obtained analytical results are validated with experimental measurements. The influence on the final results of linear and nonlinear loads is also analyzed with an example.
