Abstract :
By 2050, our life expectancy could be as long as 150 years! If this is in fact a possible scientific goal, then I am certain that bionanotechnologists will be the ones that will take us there eventually. This column introduces the articles that comprise the focused theme of bionanotechnology in this issue.
