Abstract
The total H calculation of 3D transient eddy current problems is discussed under the hybrid FE-BE method. The boundary tree technique is used to remove the redundant edges. As for comparing, another method with the difference of adopting magnetic scalar potential Ω in eddy current region is described. By using edge element discretization technique, these methods are feasible and effective. Because we use H as state variable in eddy free region, it is no longer difficult to deal with the multiply-connected problems
