Abstract :
The moving vector Preisach model includes the basic features of the magnetization mechanisms in particulate recording media: uniaxial anisotropy, switching, rotation, and dependence of the interaction field on the magnetization. An identification procedure is proposed and comparison with experimental data shows an excellent fit for very different measurements: major loop and δM curves in both longitudinal and transverse directions, and magnetization under rotating field
