Abstract :
In this paper, the authors present the results of a research devoted to the magnetic field outside a rotating axial airgap variable reluctance machine. As a matter of fact, the knowledge of the magnetic field outside an electrical machine is becoming important for the environment. Methods have been used, the results of which have been compared against one another and with experimental results. Furthermore, a method for reducing this parasitic magnetic field is discussed
