Abstract :
An efficient image alignment algorithm for panorama modelling on a mobile platform is presented. The full degree-of-freedom (DOF) of camera roll, pitch and yaw can be estimated based on 3D rotational matrix decomposition. The time cost for four photos is only ~3 s on a typical mobile platform (SPH-M4300). This is believed to be the first mobile solution for 3-DOF image alignment
