Abstract :
Nonlinearity in multibit current-steering digital-to-analogue converters (DACs) originates from static mismatch and switching imperfections. Several techniques are presented to avoid this nonlinearity. When applied, the DACs are suitable for use in the feedback of continuous-time ΣΔ-converters.
