Abstract :
This paper presents an 8-channel counter and histogramming sub-module with local memory which in association with a dedicated motherboard and bus system forms a fully expandable data acquisition system. As a first application, we used this sub-module to implement a 16-input calibration channel unit module to carry out the acquisition of real-time calibration data (beam intensity, sample temperature...) for time-resolved synchrotron radiation experiments. This sub-module will also be used as the basis of the data acquisition system for our new fast wire per wire X-ray detector
